LLS is a non-profit organization with a clear mission: to create a future where every child in Gambia is safe in and around water. Together with our local partners we provide innovative ultra visible swim shorts and vital water safety education.
A Simple Idea That Saves Lives
LLS was founded on a single conviction: A pair of ultra visible shorts can mean the difference between life and death. Our solution is twofold: We equip children with high-visibility, ultra visible shorts, and we fund vital drowning prevention education and swimming leasons.

Our Origin Story
The idea wasn't born in a boardroom, but from a heartbreaking experience. On his first trip to Gambia, Ove Kenneth Nilsen witnessed a tragedy: a young boy drowned on a crowded beach, invisible in the dark water. That paralyzing feeling of helplessness became the driving force behind a clear mission: to make the invisible, visible. The result is our neon-colored shorts, designed to catch the eye and save lives.
Our Positive Impact
